剧情简介
一个又一个疑问浮出：习近这个男人是她的父亲吗？如果是，习近为何到现在自己都不曾见过他来寻找她们母女二人？当初他与母亲之间到底发生了什么？带着照片和这些疑问，许小苇踏上了追寻真相之路。
日伪时期，嘱托女作家沈韶华（林青霞饰）在报纸上连载她的自传体小说《白玉兰》，很多情节感同身受。然而，习近见到日本军人凌辱中国人，月凤顿觉章面目可憎。
终于，嘱托两人见面，一见钟情。此时，习近她的闺中密友月凤（张曼玉饰）因与男友（严浩饰）赌气，来找她倾诉。三人一起出游，嘱托感情很好。
某日，习近她接到了一位神秘的读者来信。嘱托本片根据三毛最后一部同名作品改编。
此后，习近时局动荡，日本投降，国共开战，韶华的情感经历了更加复杂的波澜……

莫妮卡是一名吸毒的应召女郎，嘱托但她依旧很天真。莫妮卡不知不觉陷入毒品走私计划之中，习近两人在这晚被腐败的警察、黑帮、利奥的对手以及三合会派来的女杀手追杀。
